program of Iranian documentary films in Canada
A program of
Iranian documentary films (past and present), will be held
during the
International Documentary Festival of Montreal
(10-20 November 2005).
The focus will be on the so-called "golden age" of documentary
filmmaking in Iran in the 60's-70's, and its contemporary
counterpart today. We will be showing films by Shirdel, Kimiavi,
Taghvaï, Golestan, Forough Farrokzad, as well as more recent
